Thematic Map of Kremenchuk Agglomeration
A thematic map of the Kremenchuk agglomeration at scale produced as a test task.
A thematic map of the Kremenchuk agglomeration at 1:350,000, produced as a test task for a job application. The map defines the agglomeration through nine amalgamated hromadas around Kremenchuk, Horishni Plavni, and Svitlovodsk, and layers a spatial analysis on top: three regions marking directions for development — transit road upgrades in the north linking to the M-03 (Kyiv–Kharkiv), the Kremenchuh Plavni Regional Landscape Park and the lower Psel as a recreational framework, and transport infrastructure along the M-22 and the southern railway line.
The dark palette is a deliberate departure from the conventions of administrative and planning cartography — settlement structure, hydrography, and forest cover read as texture, while the analytical overlays carry the color.
