My second season, and this time I wasn’t alone — other cartographers from Ukraine joined the marathon too. Thirty days, thirty maps, all focused on Ukraine, each one built around the daily theme set by the community.

This year stood out for the variety of Ukrainian work appearing under the hashtag, including a particularly striking and unusual map by Andriy Yaremenko. It was the first time the challenge really felt like it had a Ukrainian presence.
