#30DayMapChallenge
2019
2019 — the first-ever #30DayMapChallenge
This was the very first #30DayMapChallenge — and my first time taking part. The idea started with a tweet by Topi Tjukanov, and within days hundreds of mappers around the world had joined in. As far as I know, I was the only participant from Ukraine, so I chose to dedicate all my maps to my country.
Every map was built entirely with open-source tools and open data from OpenStreetMap contributors — no commercial software at all. My toolkit that year: QGIS, GRASS GIS, SAGA GIS, GDAL, Python, Blender, Inkscape, GIMP and Ubuntu 18.04.
30 maps this year.
